So I've been reading the Perl Black Book 10 pages per day. I've just read page 290, so that means It's been 30 days (I missed a day) since I started. I'm really happy with the results. I wish there was a 3rd edition that was more recent too, since the 2nd edition is from 2001.
Anyway, I was confused early on about scalars, arrays, and confused arrays with lists, and thought lists and arrays were different things.... but anyway.

That's all, now that I have memorized them by wrote, my mind made this connection. Was this the reason those signs stand for that type of variable? If anyone reads this and knows, please comment on other logical leaps/connection things that make sense that I might not know about additional hints/tricks that could help me remember things better.
